Dr Siaw Seng Taat, Nathan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). As an undergraduate, he participated in various Ophthalmology symposiums and conferences. One of his research papers was also chosen to be presented at the 32nd Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress (APAO), where he presented his research findings on amblyopia, to the international community. Dr Nathan has also gained extensive experience across various institutions including Singapore National Eyecare Centre (SNEC), Changi General Hospital (CGH), Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and National University Hospital (NUH). As a recognition of his contributions, he has also been awarded the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards in 2021. As a keen advocate for primary eye care, Dr Nathan currently works in the National University Hospital as well as maintains his research presence with Singapore National Eyecare Center and Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI). Dr Nathan is fluent in both English and Mandarin. In his free time, Dr Nathan often volunteers both locally and abroad.
